On October 25, 2025, Kangulumira Public Secondary School buzzed with excitement as it hosted a vibrant Visitation Day for the entire school, complemented by a special parents’ meeting for Senior Three and Senior Five students. Despite the rain that challenged the day, parents arrived in large numbers, eager to engage in discussions about their children’s academic future as they prepare to become candidates in the upcoming year.
The day kicked off with a crucial parents’ meeting from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, where the school administration outlined the academic programs and strategies for the next year. Dr. George Wateta, the Head Teacher, addressed the gathering, urging parents to enroll their children in boarding facilities to ensure academic success. “Boarding provides a focused environment, which is critical for candidates to achieve excellent results,” Dr. Wateta emphasized. The discussions fostered a collaborative spirit, with parents and the school aligning on ways to support the students’ journey toward excellence.
Adding a lively touch to the meeting, the school’s Music, Dance, and Drama (MDD) team delivered captivating performances, delighting parents as the session concluded. From bakery goods to entrepreneurial ventures like sandals, bar soap, and petroleum jelly, the students’ creations highlighted their creativity and practical skills.
